I love the idea of what I think DeskCut should do, but I can't get it to
work. I tried updating to the newest version today and retrying it, but
I keep getting the same results.

It installs OK, puts a "Create DeskCut" in the context menu and makes a
shortcut on the desktop. HOWEVER: When I double click the shortcut
(Windows XP Pro), FireFox opens, but does not display the targeted web
page. It puts the correct page address as text in the browser page and
the location of the shortcut file itself in the URL box:

Example: (with the Default "Use DDE" both checked and unchecked in the
file association box);

*With the default "Use DDE" checked*
// The 4 lines below show up in the FireFox browser page. The 5^th line
is what shows up in the URL Box.

/[DEFAULT]
BASEURL=http://www.google.com/
[InternetShortcut]
URL=http://www.google.com//

In the URL line of FireFox:
_file:///c:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Wes/Desktop/Google.url_

*With the default "USE DDE" Unchecked*

What shows up in the FireFox browser is the same. The URL Box changes to
the below line:
file:///c:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Wes/Desktop/Google%20no%20DDE%20w%20html.url

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!!
Wes
