[Deskcut] Deskcut 0.5.0.3 does not install on FX 1.0.7

My configuration is FX 1.0.7 english on win xp pro sp1.
Following add-ins are installed:
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12)

The problem arising is the version 0.5.0.3 does not install on my FX.
Following error message is being generated after subsequent FX start-up:

Chrome Registration failed for Extension 
'{9125C9CB-BE2B-4389-A0C7-46A4BDD46AEA}' when calling 
nsIXULChromeRegistry::installSkin with this chrome path: 
jar:file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/U%BFycio/Dane%20aplikacji/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/tz9lycsl.default/extensions/%7B9125C9CB-BE2B-4389-A0C7-46A4BDD46AEA%7D/chrome/deskcut.jar!/skin/classic/ 
(profile extension = true). Perhaps this path does not exist within the 
chrome JAR file, or the contents.rdf file at that location is malformed?

The manually deinstallation does not help.
It let indeed to new problems - FX did not want to start at all. I had 
to clean up chrome\overlayinfo directory
from the descut's occurances.

I can not find the string 7B9125C9CB neither in my profile nor in the 
xpi file.

Do you have some idea regarding the possible reason ?
