Hi, don't know if you are the right people to ask about this but can't
find e-mail ad on mozilla site.

Basically this afternoon I decided to upgrade from firefox 1.0 to 1.5
as there was a link on my homepage. It said it would be simple to
transfer bookmarks/favourites etc.

I originally downloaded firefox so that I could use cuneAform but the
first thing I saw when I completed the installation was that there was
no cuneAform compatible with the new firefox 1.5 at present.
No problem I thought, I will continue to use the cuneAform from version
1.0. However when I quit 1.5 and opened up 1.0 I found that the
cuneAform had been lost from my tools in the menu - along with all of
my bookmarks. I had no idea that by downloading the new version it
would interfere with the version that I already had - especially as it
said the bookmarks would be easily transferred to the new version - how
can I transfer that which is no longer there?
I have tried to download the 0.3.1 cuneAform. This cannot be done from
firefox 1.5 - it says it is not able to install to this version, only
up to 1.0. When I try to install cuneAform 0.3.1 from firefox version
1.0 (as that is where I will be able to use it from, theoretically) it
says I need to upgrade my browser to view the page!
I am caught in a bit of a loop here - can't download from the page that
I can see as it's the wrong version. Can't access the page from the
right version.
Would be very grateful if you could help out or forward this message to
the mozilla site - I am hoping that you are linked as you have 'moz' in
your address.

I'm pretty distressed to have lost all my bookmarks as you can imagine
and to be honest I downloaded firefox in the first place to access the
cuneAform to use on eBay. It seems that by trying to improve my browser
I have in fact taken several steps backwards and am worse off that I
was before I upgraded today.

Thanks in advance, Deborah Crow
