Hi Julian,
  I assure you that your request is high on the priority list (take at look at note #14!).  In the mean time, I'll add some detailed instructions to the 'Help' link above on how to change this text in version 0.4.7.  I won't be able to update the 'Help' page for a few days...so here is my attempt at a quick description:

-The 'Help' page talks about how to get to the 'CookieSwap' directory.  The directory that contains the 'CookieSwap' directory also contains an 'extensions' directory.
-Under the 'extensions' directory, there is a directory called 'cookieSwap at cookieswap.mozdev.org'.  Go to that directory.
-Under there, go to chrome/chromeFiles/content
-Edit the file named profileUI.js
-Search for "CookieSwap:" and replace the two instances with your favorite term (like "CS:").

I'll put more detailed instructions on the 'Help' page once I get a few minutes.
