That's interesting that now the URL while in gmail always stays at mail.google.com/mail. That must be a relatively new change, because previously they used a long URL with session specific information in it that got confused when the session information didn't match the cookie information. For example, if you log out of gmail and log back in, you will see the long URL. A that point, if you change cookies and reload, you'll see the error I was talking about. Unfortunately, Yahoo still puts session info in the URL.
Well, if the auto-reload concept would work for gmail then it certainly seems worth making it a CookieSwap option. If I was feeling particularly ambitious, I would make it configurable depending on the URL. For example, if the URL is mail.google.com/gmail it will auto-reload.
