Message-ID: <400BBAFA.3000206@strana.ru> Hello, Cristina! Open "plain links" is not possible yet, in 0.8. But there is 0.9 on a way, which in addition will support variables in plugin's Action field. So, I think if some plugin will contain the ConQuery will open whatever selected in the new tab :) The release of 0.9 is planned around Jan 23 or even sooner. Also, you can try Linky (http://linky.mozdev.org) - it does something similar. Vasa. I don't know if conquery author will answer here (he seems very busy and don't always read the newsletter...) I think also this feature could easyly be implemented, but there's other extension which do this ( ex: the "Plain Text Links" http://ted.mielczarek.org/code/mozilla/ ). IMHO the aim of "conquery" is to do query to services, not really to do tricks with selected text. But that's just my view. -- Chadom From vmaximov at strana.ru Mon Jan 19 20:50:35 2004 From: vmaximov at strana.ru (Vasa Maximov) Date: Mon Jan 19 12:59:43 2004 Subject: [Conquery] what about open links? And thanks to Christina for showing me a "side effect" of this feature :) 0.9 is almost up now and I've cheerfully spent some time to write such plugin and it truly works! Let's say: it's a special case of query - query to protocol (i.e http:// or whatever) . In fact I think that specialized extentions will do such things in much flexible way :) Vasa. You can make plugin without any and with action="[:selection]" (or "protocol://[:selection]"). Have a good surf! :) Vasa.
