[Companion] "Official" vs. Community

I've played with the Yahoo! developed toolbar a few times, and have
always come back to the Companion for Mozilla version. It just seems to
work better - the Yahoo! version has been pretty buggy. It also
(was/is) missing a few features I like in the IE and Mozdev versions -
like being having the Disposable Addresses popup appear in the mail
menu and right-click opening to new tab. I haven't tested the latest
beta, so these features may have been added since.

I'm also a little disconcerted by the length of the "beta" process -
for a company the size of Yahoo!, this toolbar should have been
finished months ago. The pace of development is pathetic compared to
the official Googlebar.

Of course, no one has updated our website in nearly a year either. The
version that everyone uses exists only in the mail archives - the
version at the website is basically useless.

Oh well - at least those of us "in the know" still get access to the
best Yahoo! toolbar out there - largely due to your continuing efforts.
