Thanks for trying, Brian.  Unfortunately it doesn't work in Deer Park Alpha 2
or in Firefox 1.06:

Deer Park Alpha 2:

  Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4)
  Gecko/20050719 Firefox/1.0+

Firefox 1.06:

  Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10)

1.  Yahoo! version doesn't install on Deer Park either

2.  I like the layout of the Mozdev version better. No extra buttons,
    smaller search window.
