[Companion] sub menus / bookmarks

i do realise that this is probably a rather difficult issue simply as otherwise somebody would have cracked it already, but it's a real pain that the submenus - most importantly the bookmark button isn't working. that's really the only reason i'm using the bar and it currently precludes me from running firefox on any of the machines i'm using.
