[Companion] Menus mostly inoperative, search box gone

Thanks.  I will fix the version string next time.  The irony is that the 
only file that changed between 1214 and 1216 was /install.rdf/.  I added 
the Netscape 8 application ID, and apparently forgot to update the 
version information.
