I was just getting on to send a message to that effect. It is a
conflict between the versions. The wrong yahootoolbar object is being
asked to refresh. I was able to recreate it by reinstalling the old
version.
With Firefox closed, go the the application chrome directory and delete
'yahootoolbar.jar', 'chrome.rdf' and the 'overlayinfo' directory tree.
Then edit 'installed-chrome.txt' to remove all references to
yahootoolbar. That should completely remove the old version.

I was thinking about adding an options page to allow setting the timers
and search history length. Another option is changing the code to do a
full refresh once every 8 or 10 times, but I have not started on that
project yet.
BTW, in addition to the button remove code, the test version I sent out
does not display the toolbar on popup windows, and it does a better job
capturing search terms for international users.
