The simplest ways to have this with Yahoo! bookmarks, apart from the
Companion:
* set a bookmark for <http://bookmarks.yahoo.com>
* set a bookmark for
<http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/config/export_bookmark?.commit=1>
o This will put up a dialog asking where to save the file, but
you can open it directly or....
o If you save the bookmark.html file, you can bookmark that
file. Then you would use the first link to refresh the
local file whenever you liked and the second link to access
the bookmarks as a web page.
o You could use the bookmark.html file to replace the local
bookmarks completely, but I am not sure how difficult it
would be (open files, etc.)
Of course, as noted by a previous poster, a new project could be created
from the Companion project to use the parsed Companion feed to populate
a button or write a local RSS or RDF file.
