OK, I tried with both Netscape 7.2 and Firefox 1.0PR, and I cannot
recreate the symptoms. I opened each browser to an 'about:blank' page
and refreshed the toolbar manually. The memory usage reported by
Windows task manager went up, but then after a short time, dropped back
to the original values. I repeated the test many times. I did not
write down the value in Netscape, but in FF, it would drop back to
22,196K every time.

Is this a real problem, is it just that the Javascript engine is slow to
recover the storage, or is it an interaction with something else?
