[Companion] companion not refreshing

Since installing Firefox RC1, and now the 1.0 Release, the companion refuses to refresh.

That is, bookmark changes won't show up, mail alerts neither appear or disappear (if I had mail
when starting up Firefox), etc.  It was working in the PR release, and everything else still works
wonderfully.

YC v.0.52.8598156.108240548 (in 'About') and 0.5.4.20041020 (in Extension menu)

I have installed all versions on top of the previous version.

Any ideas?
