[Companion] Totally blank companion toolbar

I had this same problem... uninstalled, reinstalled,
changed permissions on .mozilla, etc to no avail.

Turns out the yahootoolbar_saves dir was not
executable, though it was both readable and writable.

chmod +x
~/.mozilla/firefox/XXX.default/yahootoolbar_saves

did the trick for me...
