[Clippings] Shortcut keys don't work?

Thanks Brian for sharing your findings. It sounds like the shortcut
key behaviour on Mac OS X is rather awkward to contend with. So many
keys to hold down, and so many fingers involved, just to insert a
clipping using the keyboard!

I will have to research a workaround that would simplify things. Of
course, any helpful reports of further observations on this issue are
most welcome.

A bug report has been created to document this issue; see

on this issue should be recorded there.
