[Clippings] question

The current version of Clippings is 3.0, which was released a few
weeks ago.  You should upgrade to this version which supports Firefox
versions 2.0 to 3.0b5.

There have been many enhancements to Clippings since version 1 was
released.  See the Clippings website to learn more:
