[Clippings] problems with installation

I have downloaded Clippings...three times now.  Restarted Firefox each
time.  It is showing in my Extensions.

Problem: No icon on the status bar, and no idea what's going wrong.

Mac G4
OS X 10.2.8

Advice is welcome.
