hello there

thanks a lot for your Clippings extension! could hardly live without it. however as it's not officially supported for TB2RC anymore, i've bumped it:

A new version of Clippings, with support for Thunderbird 2.0 rc1 and
some new Thunderbird-specific features, will be out shortly.

A new update for Clippings is now available for download from
http://clippings.mozdev.org.

If you already have Clippings installed, it will be upgraded for you
if automatic extension updates are enabled. Otherwise, choose Tools |
Add-ons, then right-click on the entry for Clippings in the list of
installed extensions and choose Find Update.

Users who had first installed Clippings from the Clippings website
(http://clippings.mozdev.org) will be able to upgrade immediately.
Clippings is awaiting review on Mozilla Addons, so users who first
installed Clippings from there will not see updates for it until it is
approved by Mozilla Addons reviewers.

This release adds a few new features specific to Thunderbird:

    * New check box in New Clipping dialog - "Remove extra line
breaks" and "Create as unquoted text" (Thunderbird only)
    * Paste clipping as normal or quoted text (Thunderbird only)
    * Compatibility with Thunderbird 2.0 rc1

  personally, only need one more feature -- to have a key combination automatically enter the 'clipping' in the text box containing the cursor -- eg. alt-ctrl-1 for clipping 1, and so on -- say a minimum capability for 15 or so clippings

Clipping is good tool. I would like to suggest one more feature to this. 
Pls add extention for text for Subject lines. We many time use routine 
subject lines for repetitive e-mails. So pls give paste function for 
subject line. Pls keep both lists seperate as not to confuse and when we 
are in subject line, we automatically get that option only. And when we 
are in e-mail text section we get that only.

I love Thunderbird so much now and load all extentions which add values 
to it.  Earlier Pegasus e-mail was very powerful software with so many  
options but now I moved to thunderbird. I like it so much that I am 
resending all my e-mails via gmail from pegasus mail back to my e-mail 
a/c and downloading it in thunderbird to migrate  to TB.

I hope to see this Subject clipping option soon.
