[Clippings] No more support for Chinese text???

Why does the latest version not support Chinese text anymore???
Everything was fine until I updated to version 1.2.  Now, I regret it.  If I had known earlier, I would not have done so.  The Chinese characters don't show up anymore.  Only scrambled garbage.

Please do something to restore that function.
