[Clippings] How do I import my files

Hi,

I would like to use Clippings with Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 on a Ubuntu Linux
machine. It seemed to install OK but I can't get it to import my taglines.

This is my situation: I have multiple folders with numerous taglines in
each. They are in plain text format, with a carriage return separating
each tagline. I would like to import them into folders in Clippings so
they can be selected, one tagline at a time.

I was able to copy one of the files to the clipboard and then import it
into Clippings, but when I try to select just one line it inserts the
whole file. What is the proper way to do this? There are hundreds of
separate lines in my files. I hope I don't have to import them one at a
time.

If Clippings is not up to the task, and you are looking for a new
project, you could be a hero in the e-mail community. Tagzilla did the
job perfectly, but unfortunately it is no longer being supported and
doesn't work on the latest version of TB. Like I said, if you created a
program equivalent to Tagzilla, or built Tagzilla's functionality into
Clippings you would have people lining up to download your program.

Bob
