It occurred to me that those of you who don't build (which would be
most localization teams, I'm guessing) are getting the
framework/palette from somewhere else, whereas I was using the one I
generated from the build process (which would always be native for my
architecture).
I just checked and the palette installer linked from
http://cl10n.rwx.it/how-to/appleglot contains a PPC-only binary,
which wouldn't work on Marcello's new Intel Mac :-(
The state of the IBPalette is not pretty (it pre-dates Universal
Binaries, and the build system is designed to automatically install
the palette/framework for the developer), but I spent some time
tonight generating a Universal one and packaging it up. I'm still
not very familiar with PackageMaker on Mac OS X newer than 10.3.9,
but I believe the installer works correctly. I deleted my existing
Palette/Framework, ran the installer, and opened the
ProgressDialog.nib in IB 2.whatever-is-on-10.5 successfully.
I've posted the installer package zip at
http://www.ardisson.org/smokey/moz/CaminoPaletteUniversal.zip
If folks could confirm that it works for them, Marcello can upload it
to the cl10n site in place of the old one.
I also have an updated src/template package at
http://www.ardisson.org/smokey/moz/CaminoPaletteSrc.zip
(the original is in CVS at
http://www.mozdev.org/source/browse/caminol10n/src/installerTpl/ );
thanks to Marcello and Filipp Lepalaan for putting this together in
the first place.
Hope this solves things....
