Yep, that came up in some of the original feature discussions; IIRC,
the current plan is to support a modifier key that would make the
arrows function as pagers.

We considered wrapping the scroll behavior, but were concerned that
it would eliminate too much of the remaining positional information
from the tab bar. The tab menu on the right (which is still in flux;
we are aware that it's difficult to use it to go left at the moment)
should hopefully serve the need of quickly jumping to the other end
of the tab bar.

Even with tab scrolling, variable width tabs still serve a useful
purpose, so we weren't planning on changing them. Were you
envisioning tabs always being their largest size, or always being
their smallest size?
