[Camino] Automatic proxy with PAC files.

Hi,
I have a rather annoying bug with Camino that just won't leave me
alone. I have two Network Locations that I use all the time. The
one is for normal home usage and has no proxies set up and the other
is for work which requires using an autoconfig PAC file (it has to be
a PAC file). The problem is that I connect to work using Cisco's VPN
tool. In order to connect, I will first have to switch network
locations, then connect the VPN. Camino often messes this up because
it tries to read the PAC file before the VPN tunnel has been
established. There is no other way to do this. The VPN tunnel
collapses on Network changed events so I can't simply change the
order I do things. Most of the time I just restart Camino and all is
fine, but on days like today when I have 10 windows open, each with
at least 8 tabs which I actually need to stay open, then I have to
resort to firing up Safari. This makes me very anxious because not
only is Safari uglier than a bus, but it has an annoying UI (URL
autocomplete kills me, no typing in drop downs, etc).
Being a Java developer, I decided to try and fix this myself. How
hard could it be? The answer turns out to be: very (perhaps I'm just
spoiled by Ant files). After following the instructions for getting
a build to compile on the Camino website, I kept running into errors
for which Google has no answer. After giving it about three hours
without getting any closer to compilation, I have temporarily given up.
So this email is an impassioned plea for one of three things:
1) Can someone fix this bug (I filed it over 6 months ago).
2) Can someone help me out with getting Camino setup for development.
3) Can someone tell me the magic key/menu shortcut to get Camino to
re-check the PAC file.
Regards,
Brendon
