At 12:00 PM -0400 5/27/06, camino-request at mozdev.org supposedly scribed:

>On the last one, I'll expand a little here:
>You have say three tabs in your window, numbered 1, 2, 3 from left to
>right. Tab 1 has focus and you switch to tab 3. If you now close tab
>3, Camino will give focus to the tab to the left of 3, which is 2,
>instead of 1 which I would have liked.

If implemented PLEASE make it an option, not a "only." Typically,
when I open a new tab, I go off on a sort of tangent. When I am
finished, as you, I want to get back to the left-most tab. However, I
do NOT want to leave a bunch of tabs open, which would happen if you
jumped back to tab 1. My "habit" is to do a series of cmd-w's to
close tabs back to the original one.

The deeper issue is that a lot of UI requests go specifically to one
person's habits. Which means that customizing for that person may
inhibit another. Much like "do no evil" "make it a setting, not the
only way." May take me a while to come up with a better phrase!
