Woops.
I created your perception of a misunderstanding. I knew you meant =20
polished in that manner and didn't notice that it seemed i was using =20
it to mean glassy. I was really just agreeing, and my being tired of =20=
glassy icons is a side-point.
On other matters, i was lurking about back when the lengthy =20
discussions took place about all the graphical UI elements and =20
various proposals were popping up, set off somewhat by Jasper's =20
initial designs. Then it seemed all potential additional ideas and =20
most of those already around were axed by the decision to use =20
Jasper's designs with only minor modifications.
It seemed at the time that his designs were allowed to steamroller =20
all others more than has been the case with proposals about non-=20
graphical elements.
