[Camino] Camino & Flash

I have downloaded the latest Flash Player 9 for OS X running 10.4.7  
G5 (no Intel chip).  It says it is installed.  However, why do some  
sites continue to tell me that it needs to be installed?  Example:    
http://www.rickjames.com/index-no_flash.php
It's not just Camino; I also get the message with Safari.  Since so  
many other sites requiring Flash work well, I am wondering if the  
problem is with the site rather than my browser.  Any thoughts?
