[Camino] Patching quicktime plugin to show PDFs possible?

As Eudora seems to be able to view PDF content inline using a 
quicktime style controller interface I am curious if the internet 
plugin for Quicktime is also able to handle PDF files. Even though 
scaling may prove problematic it is at least possible to show a 
preview of the file within Camino.

I patched the RSRC files within the plugin package and added the MIME 
types for PDFs but as it seems there are other locations which have 
to be patched. Has someone else tried this?

Background info: The Schubert PDF plugin doesn't work on Intel 
machines and the plugin provided by Adobe Reader 8 doesn't work in 
Camino.
