I think it is a very nice idea!
But what I like even better are the drawings you show on http://
simonwoodside.com/weblog/2006/03/30
Not so much for the bookmark-part, but for the tabbing.
The OmniWeb-Way of displaying tabs/sessions, ripped off or not, is
definitely superior to all the horizontal layouts once you open more
tabs than comfortably fit next to each other in the tabs bar.
The (optional?) return of the side panel for this purpose would
definitely be a huge plus for hardcore browsing!!!
