Problem is this:- 1)FF Bookmark Library option opens a new window with left and right panes for bookmark management. 2) Facilities include right click on a folder in lefthand pane to invoke sort by name facility (sorts alpha the bookmarks in that folder). 3) After selecting the sort by name function, Bookmark DD pops up a message "Confirm - this url is already in folder xxxxx". 4) It is possible to see what is happening if the bookmarks window in FF is open in sidebar. As each Bookmark DD popup is "okayed", the bookmarks are being rewritten in alpha order to the folder. 5) If there are 10 items in the folder to be sorted, then the Bookmark DD popup will request confirmation 10 times during the sort/write process. 6) In summary, Bookmark DD considers that the bookmark already exists and warns accordingly when using the Bookmark Library sort function. Whilst this is strictly true, it is a problem if a number of bookmarks have to be sorted (which they do because of the FF bookmarking function always writing new bookmarks to the top of the folder list). It is, I guess, a sort/stack problem, probably to do with sqlite. I hope this is clear but if not email me. Currently I have to disable the addon, which requires a restart of Firefox, do my sync, then re-enable the addon, with another restart of Firefox. I also don't want to automatically remove all duplicates - sometimes it's useful to have duplicates in different folders.
