I recently had to use the FF Bookmark Restore feature. I also have Bookmark Duplicate Detector addon installed. Could you add an option to ignore Duplicates during FF Bookmark Restore. I use the All-In-One sidebar, where I view and manage most FF activities, including bookmarks. I have the addon Go Parent Folder, which I often use after doing a bookmark search. The Go Parent Folder Addon highlights the folder and item. I wanted to delete the item, but since both were highlighted the entire folder was deleted. There was no prompt or message from FF, so I didn't know it happened right away. Because I'm in a transition state with Firefox (upgraded from 2.19), I have some bookmarks in their permanent spot, as well as in a work folder. When I did a FF Bookmark Restore, Bookmark Duplicate Detector, kept prompting me. It was doing it's thing, but I just wanted it out of the way. The next time I'll disable Bookmark Duplicate Detector before doing a FF Restore, but it would be nice if there was an option. I can't image a situation where a user would want duplicate checking when they are doing a restore... because a restore normally means something went wrong and they are correcting a mistake. Thank you. With this version it is possible to change behavior of duplicate detection in options panel (See screenshots). I had Bookmark Duplicate Detector (BDD) 0.7.5 installed, now I have BDD 1.0.0 installed. I liked the ability to limit my bookmark search by field/property. Plus BDD had all FF bookmark properties listed (for 2.19). BDD 0.7.5 provided an option (see below) that added a small drop-down listbox to the right of the FF search textbox. The BDD drop-down listbox contained: Name, Location, Description, Keyword. And the popup text was, "Search in Selected Fields". I found this feature extremely useful. It would be nice to see it again, if possible. Option ++++++ Bookmark Sidebar x Add menu list in search bar Thank you. Thank you for a great extensions. May I suggest a feature which would make it even more handy? The matter is that there are folders which require duplicates. Such may be To-do folders where a set of tabs is entered necessary to complete some task and later this folder is removed entirely while the needed bookmarks remain somewhere else categorised permanently. Also got myself lately a great Brief extension for reading news, it allows easily bookmarking a particular item in a news feed but here BookmarkDD pops up because it counts the feeds folder also... Seems it shouldn't be difficult to exclude some folders from real-time as well as overall (including "find duplicates") comparison. Eh? Another great thing would be to allow finding a fuzzy duplicates - pages on the same website but I'm sure you heard that one before and there must be some reasons you don't do that (sometime we need to bookmark different pages indeed but sometimes it's a mistake or a change of front page name like from index to home with automatic redirect and then we have duplicates. This could be a search only option on the other hand without real time detection and prevention then... Thank you for your attention! Keep up the good work. Best Regards, Vita
