I have denied the root folder because I thought people would like to select
it thinking this option will automaticaly delete ALL duplicates in
subfolders ! So to avoid confusion I block root folder selection.
But, i didn't think about bookmarks within root folder (without subfolder
;-) I will remove the code which block root folder selection and I will add
a message to explain that only bookmarks which are not in subfolders will be
automatically deleted.

Sorry, but you can have some identical bookmark with the same name within
the same subfolder !
There is no restriction made by firefox on duplicate bookmarks.

This is good for testing but also for new user who don't already know
BookmarkDD's options.
I suspects some people to ignore that extensions' option are available throw
extension panel !
I put an option to hide this link to keep clean Tools Menu ;-)

I also appreciate toolbar buttons but some people doesn't like them.

Sure ! It is very useful. I added possibility to hide it to avoid conflict
with other extensions which also add it (in case another extension has this
feature).

Maybe you will use it more often now ;-)

Thank you for you feedback which is very complete !

It is possible that I add another option to move duplicate bookmarks in a
"duplicate" folder whereas to automatically delete them. This will avoid
problem to manage duplicate's name to keep in Bookmarks.

Stéphane.
