Hello Dan,

"I'm forced to go over to Internet Explorer just to do some bookmarking!" 
--> Damned ;-))

You can read on bookmarkdd's bug page to find the way to read error 
messages.
You can simply unistall Bookmarkdd to check where problem come from.
It is very strange if problem come from bookmarkdd extension I will ask you 
test a debug version to trace more warning messages and solve problem.

Extension has been tested on 2.0.0 abd 2.0.0.1.
