Hello,

Thank you for your continued interest in the biobar extension. Version
1.3 is now in production and is available for download and installation
from:

http://biobar.mozdev.org/installation.html

This version is a significant improvement over the previous releases.
The features included in this version are:

# Search Groups of Data simultaneously (structures, function, taxonomy),
and the results from various databases are shown in tabs
# Add/Save/Edit Custom Links on toolbar menu.
# Open searches in new tab/existing tab.
# BioCyc species file read in from remote XML file for dynamic updates.
Updates checked every 10 days.
# Biobar code rewritten from scratch to move to a manageable XML based
format.
# Add/Replace own search databases by simple edits of XML files. See
http://biobar.mozdev.org/customize
# 38 Biological databases supported in the current version. Recent
entrants are BMRB and araCyc.
# Future interim updates are likely to be in the form of database XML
files which when saved in user_profile will automatically update toolbar
content

Browser versions supported:

Firefox 0.8 - 1.0.1 (all platforms) - tested extensively on MacOS, Linux
and Windows
Mozilla 1.4 - 1.8 (all platforms)
Netscape 7.0+
Netscape 8.0b is not yet supported.

Please uninstall the previous version of biobar before installing the
new version wherever possible.

As usual I would be interested in your feedback. Do let me know if
something stinks, or if something did not work as expected.
