[Biobar] Uninstalling and reinstalling

I have had problems with biobar (version 1.3). I have version 1.0.4 of
firefox.  I then tried to uninstall biobar along with bioFOX using the
Tools > Extension>uninstall process. I rebooted firefox but they have
not been removed. They are just hanging saying ''This item will be
uninstalled when you start firefox''. However now they are both working
fine. Any suggestions on how and why this has happened. Realise this is 
probably firefox problem.
