Dear Jawahar,
great job, a couple of suggestions for the 'north american'
balance (hey, I'm a former NCBIer -- apologies in advance :-)
For the DNA submission, you would probably want to add a
link to Sequin (the collaboration's submission tool),
as well as one to BankIt (NCBI) and Sakura (DDBJ's
submission tool).
Here are the links:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Sequin/index.html
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/BankIt/
http://sakura.ddbj.nig.ac.jp/
Also, currently the NCBI database called "Global Search"
should be called "Entrez" (which is what I think most
people know it as.
Also, I like the setting of the default database
provider, but how to I set a default database
(say I choose EBI databases -- how do I set the
default to protein?)
Cheers, and great work ... I think many users will
start to use this, and we are already promoting it
to our users at UBC.
cheers,
f.
