I really like the idea of this extension, but it doesn't quite function the same as mIRC or Trillian.
I'd like to see a checkbox in the options that says:

 [ ] Deselect on Copy

Such that when I release the left click the highlighting disappears as it does in mIRC/Trillian/etc.

    Just a thought -
    What would be even a step better than that 
    would be a keyboard shortcut to toggle that
    feature...... damn that would be hot.
