There is another extention out there that changes the formating of the copied text. Copy Plain Text 0.2.1 looks like it does it. I'm sure you can find it on the net. And i'm sure there are other extensions that do what you want if that one doesn't work.

I'm working on 0.4 right now. I've added code for localization for our french and german users out there and whoever else wants to translate. I've added code so that firefox will know how to update autocopy next time it needs it. I'm moving on to paist on middle click. Once i'm finished with that i'm going to post 0.4. and then i'm going to work on autocopy 0.4 lite which will work with thunderbird I hope as well as have the paist on middle click... we shall see how it goes
