No this extention dosn't do anything to mIRC or whatever it just does that copy on selection thing that mIRC does. I don't use mIRC much but I do know that clicking on link of the form irc://irc.someserver.com/somechan will open mIRC on my computer so it's possible with plain jain firefox. But I don't know what to do if it's not working.

I hadent used thunderbird till I got meself yahooPOPs (and I still have to log in to y ahoo to sent stuff).. but yes that would be usefull and probably easy to do. I'll look into it.
