I need more information. I can't reproduce the bug on my machine. email me at jacksmernov at yahoo.com. Knowing things like the version of firefox you're using, the extentions you have installed, and any firefox settings you use that arn't default ones would help

Yes you can set autocopy to copy from text boxes, look in the options page for autocopy. You can get there from tools->extensions and highlighting autocopy and hitthing the options button or by right clicking the autocopy enable button. The first version of autocopy would copy from within text boxes, But it was anoying me when trying to copy and paist things into text boxes like google. So I made it optional and set the default to off.

A little googling might find you a text editor that autocopies. Henshoo and Wittypad say they can. but I was unable to find a link that works for either of them. Another thing you can try is called Autocopy which can be found in a freewhere package of tools odly enough called ToolsPackage. Find it here www.freewarehits.de/ToolsPackage.htm. It seamd to work. It looks like it just SendKeys a ctrl-c every second, which I bet gets anoying depending on the app you're using. But it should work in any app that ctrl-c works in. Lastly I think linux has some sort of autocopy. I'm pritty sure that the clipboard.autocopy setting in about.config in firefox is to enable unix style autocopy in firefox. But i'm on winblows right now and can't test it myself. Chickan
