So jslib is broken for all earlier releases of Mozilla? Is there a note 
somewhere on the site where it says what release/build date it is 
expected to work on?

I'm still wondering whether whe should create xpis (or just zips?) of 
the io-lib for older releases (preferrred are the milestones 
corresponding to Netscape releases). Living on the edge is nice for 
developers, but the products (our nice little proggys) should not be 
living on the edge. At least not all the time ;-)
