A lot of last week was burned trying to figure out the best way to add actions to mozile. Now that I've got that down I'll be able to add new actions to mozile easily (besides the part of writing the action).
- bug#19655 - was able to get tool installed and running; it seems like we should have a way to sync project roles before we make it live
- bug#20466 - I looked into other editors like mozile just to make sure I wasn't overlooking something but didn't find anything. I upgraded mozile to the CVS version which fixed tool tips. I was able to figure out how to add and remove actions to the toolbar by the end of the week (with some help on the list). I'm currently working on the "add new image" action to upload new images and put them in the page. I began debugging why certain actions don't have any effect (like font colors, sizes, etc) but haven't gotten anywhere yet.
- Upgraded Windows XP VM to be able to use IE 1.5 - 8 (6-8 are the only practical ones), Firefox 1.5 - 3.5, Safari, and Chrome
This upcoming week I'd really like to get our WYSIWYG editor to a testable place; this requires:;
- Making the code that enables "edit-in-place" work site-wide
- Creating a "create new page" action
- Creating a "upload new image" action
I hope to have these things done early next week so we can test things out.
